We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, on-time individual who is good with tools to manage the process of the safe mooring of boats, general operations of the dock by facilitating and assisting in coordinating the arrival and departure of boats, maintaining a safe and clean environment, renting Jet Skis from booking to launching as well as daily cleaning and maintenance of the watercraft, and acting as the initial liaison between members and the club. The ideal candidate will be punctual and possess a positive attitude with a willingness to learn, excellent customer service skills, have great work ethic, organizational skills, and have the ability to work independently.
Must be available weekends and weekdays as well as holidays. Professional appearance, reliable transportation, friendly demeanor, strong work ethic required. Some prior boating experience is required. Ensuring that ALL of our boats and Jet Skis are kept 100% safe and operational at all times and that customers receive EXCELLENT service in accordance with all company guidelines. Full-time positions are available with advancement opportunities for the right candidate.

DOCK HAND JOB DESCRIPTION
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Ability to stand for the entire work day.
Climbing steps regularly.
Working in wet and slippery conditions. Frequently working in an outdoor, hot, and damp environment.
Physical ability to board and load boats dozens of times per day
Physical ability to clean boats often using handle mounted brush
Occasional kneeling / stooping to clean interior of boat compartments
Vision adequate to read / manipulate hand held computer tablets
Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity
· Ability to provide the highest level of customer and guest services
Highly effective communication skills and friendly customer service is absolutely required
Frequently immerses hands in water.
Must be comfortable working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or rain
Reading and writing work-related documents in English.
Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
Strong organizational skills and reliability
Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.
Adhere to all safety policies
Must be able to swim or be willing to wear personal flotation device while on duty.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
Completion of watercraft training course
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to learn how to perform minor boat maintenance
Must always operate with an emphasis on guest hospitality and safety
Use "clean as you go" method when performing your work duties.
Be able to maintain a professional, cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors, fellow employees, vendors, guests and members
· Must be able to demonstrate safe work habits at all times, including the proper care and use of all tools, equipment, vehicles, hazardous materials, and observes all established health and safety regulations.
Weekend/Holiday shifts required
· Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which including background check and drug screening
Familiarity with jet skis, troubleshooting, and maintenance preferred

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Greet members in a friendly, upbeat, courteous, and professional manner
· Providing the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all requests from vessels including transport of guests and baggage to and from dockside, delivery of provisions and packages
Assist members in boarding / loading boats with emphasis on safety
Securing boats to docks
Drive boats between moorings and pier
Control traffic in marina area and assist customers with docking boats
Perform check of safety equipment on board
Routinely operates, motor and water vehicles and other various mechanized equipment
Renting Jet Skis from booking to launching
Daily cleaning and maintenance of the watercraft
All other duties as assigned by management
Compensation: Hourly + tips
