42B ($23.83-$28.98) per hour

Alpine County is currently recruiting for the position of Library Information Access Coordinator. Under direction of the Library/Museum/Archives Director, performs professional and technical library work and other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by coursework in library skills or related field.
Experience:
Four years of progressively responsible technical library experience, including or supplemented by computer and library information technology experience. Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Substitution:
Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the Associate's degree on a year for-year basis
Other Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: 100% FTE in a five step salary system with advancement upon satisfactory completion of a one year probationary period and annual increases thereafter.
Health Insurance: County provides medical, dental and vision coverage for employee with co-payment by employee, based on family status.
Vacation: Accrued at the rate of 6.67 hours per month, or 10 vacation days per year.
Sick Leave: Earned at the rate of 8 hours per month.
Holidays: 15 paid holidays per year.
Retirement: Participation in the California Public Employee Retirement System (PERS), New Members 2% at 62 plan
Deferred Compensation: the County has a voluntary deferred compensation program.
