Position Summary:
As the Restaurant Assistant Manager you will work in and become knowledgeable and well-rounded in all restaurant concepts and styles of service. You will provide assistance to each respective Restaurant Manager throughout the daily operations as well as manage shifts to ensure company standards are preserved. You also assist with the development, supervision, and the overseeing of all team members. The Restaurant Assistant Manager will perform operational activities such as inventory management, scheduling, sanitation, preparing and preserving stock and monitoring food supplies. The Restaurant Assistant Manager will also communicate and abide by all company policies and procedures. Essential Functions:
Works in various Food and Beverage Outlets and support leadership in each as needed
Run the staff when the manager is not on duty and directing other team members through their daily routines.
Interact with guests to make sure that they have a pleasing experience.
Assistant managers act as quality control, ensuring guest satisfaction through training team members properly and adhering to company policy.
Handle general complaints raised.
Communicate and resolve issues between front and back of house.
Motivate and delegate tasks to team members and making sure they are carried out accordingly.
Knowledge of cutting the floor of staff not needed to ensure there is no overtime or excessive labor.
Able to lead and motivate while working in a team environment.
Hold daily pre-shift meeting

Qualifications / Special Skills:
One year of restaurant management experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Possess exceptional problem solving and people skills.
Must be passionate in developing and mentoring others within the operation.
Have confidence, self-drive and be enthusiastic while making decisions in a time pressured environment.
Be responsible in handling challenging situations.
Must possess a Serv Safe Manager Certificate.
High degree of flexibility as needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
