Job OverviewWe are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the operations of our restaurant gaming bar, Lucky Beaver Bar & Burger. The Assistant Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the establishment, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with staff management and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in coordinating and supervising daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Support the General Manager in staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and events to attract and retain customers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor licensing requirements, and other applicable laws.
- Monitor financial performance, including cash handling and point-of-sale operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Scheduling employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage.
- Completing necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory, and staff attendance reports.
