Full job description
Shedcat Distillery is a fast-paced, high-energy cocktail bar and restaurant, known for our craft spirits and creative cocktails. We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Barback/Busser/Food Runner to join our team. This is a key support role that keeps service running smoothly and ensures guests have an exceptional experience. This is a do-it-all role. Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights every week. Must be available during the holidays.
Responsibilities:
Assist bartenders by restocking spirits, ice, garnishes, and glassware.
Maintain a clean and organized bar/restaurant, removing used glassware and plates and wiping down surfaces.
Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
Run food/drinks from the kitchen/bar to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Provide general guest assistance as needed.
Support overall restaurant cleanliness, including floors, service stations, and restrooms.
- assist with washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen, assisting the line cook, as necessary.
Work as a team to ensure smooth service and a positive work environment.
Requirements:
A strong work ethic and ability to stay fast, efficient, and organized in a high-volume setting.
Great attitude and ability to hustle while staying friendly and professional.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods.
Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.
Experience in hospitality or food service is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
