Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized waitlist during peak hours.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations efficiently.
Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Address guest concerns promptly and courteously to enhance their dining experience.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
Familiarity with POS systems for managing seating arrangements and reservations is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the food service industry.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
A positive attitude with a willingness to help both guests and team members alike.
