Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coffeehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food safety standards while delivering an outstanding dining experience. MUST be a morning person!
Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the kitchen and dining staff to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Utilize POS systems
Train and develop staff in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, preferably in quick service, casual dining, or fine dining establishments.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
Experience in staff training, development, and performance management.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff towards achieving operational goals.
