Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help enhance building aesthetics, energy efficiency, and safety. Your Role
You are a team player and will accurately install windows on site with our amazing team of window installer. You will use blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise installation.
You have the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to install glass panes, window frames, and related fixtures efficiently.
You are capable of carrying heavy equipment and windows with our crew. You are able to construct and deconstruct scaffolding where required.
Perform heavy lifting of windows, glass panels, and framing materials safely and effectively.
Install window frames, trim carpentry components, doors, cabinets, and fixtures as needed for remodeling or new construction projects.
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency of installed windows.
Conduct metal stud framing, drywall installation, painting touch-ups, and other handyman tasks related to window projects.
Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including remodeling projects and fixture installations.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, or related fields such as remodeling or carpentry.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing equipment, and fabrication machinery.
Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques, caulking methods, and fixture mounting procedures.
Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in schematics and technical drawings.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation tasks.
Skilled in door hanging, cabinet installation, frame carpentry, drywall finishing, painting touch-ups, and metal framing.
Handyman experience or general remodeling background is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail when reading schematics or working from blueprints.
Valid physical ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications. Pay: $25.43 - $30.62 per hour
