Kayak Guide- Tahoe City Kayak
```Duties:```- Lead kayak tours and ensure the safety of all participants- Provide instruction on paddling techniques and safety procedures- Guide participants through scenic routes and points of interest- Share information about the local environment, wildlife, and history- Assist with equipment setup and maintenance- Monitor weather conditions and make decisions regarding tour cancellations or modifications as needed- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
```Experience:```- Previous experience as a Kayak Guide or in a similar outdoor guiding role is preferred, although we can certainly train you if need it.- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with tour participants- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus- Leadership skills to guide and manage groups of varying sizes- Excellent time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule- Customer service-oriented mindset to create a positive experience for participants- Ability to educate participants about the local environment, wildlife, and history
