Get Paid to Do Homework
This position is ideal for college students (but open to anyone!) looking for a steady job in a quiet, easy-paced pick-up and drop-off store with plenty of downtime to complete homework and study for exams.
When customers are not in the store, you are welcome to work on schoolwork.
We are open to full-time or part-time applicants. Part-time is based on full shifts, not split hours (for example: 2–4 full days per week, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM).
This is a long-term position, not seasonal.
Schedule & Pay
Monday through Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (full shifts only)
$17.00 per hour
NO nights, weekends, or holidays
Hands-on training provided for the first 3–4 weeks.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Opening and closing the store independently
Assisting customers with accurate pick-ups and drop-offs
Using a computer for all order entry and documentation
Recording garment details such as size, color, fabric type, pattern, and any damage
Checking in a wide variety of items including clothing, shoes, purses, leather, drapes, bedding, patio cushions, and table linens
Completing basic inventory tasks
Providing friendly, professional service to long-time customers
This Job Is a Good Fit If You:
Are a college student who wants downtime to study while working
Are EXTREMELY reliable and punctual
Are comfortable working alone
Have strong computer skills (this role is fully computer-based)
Can focus on customers first, then return to homework during slower periods
Are looking for a stable job while in school
Important Note
Because this position requires opening and closing the store alone, reliability is non-negotiable. This role is not a good fit for someone with inconsistent availability or frequent schedule changes.
